The characters are pilgrims seeking atonement for their sins when their journey brings them to the isolated village of Morbury. There they find frightened inhabitants, missing locals and a community increasingly convinced that the evil lurking in the swamp must be confronted.

Unfortunately, the truth is rarely as straightforward as an angry mob would prefer.

The characters must venture beyond the relative safety of Morbury and into a landscape corrupted by rain, fear and something ancient. Somewhere among the drowned fields and twisted trees waits the answer to the village’s troubles.

It may also be waiting for them.
