The Caste of Assassins has taken a contract on an ally of the Priest-Kings’ agents.

The fortunes of Gor’s Black Caste have changed considerably over the last fifty years.

Once regarded as honourable instruments of death, the assassins declined into scorn and ridicule before beginning a slow return to importance. Their numbers have diminished, but their skill has not.

The Black Caste possesses its own:

• Codes.

• Restrictions.

• Way of life.

• Society concealed within Gorean society.

Once an assassin accepts payment, they are expected to take the appointed life or die in the attempt, except under the most exceptional circumstances.

Many Goreans assume that anyone marked by an assassin must be involved in crime, espionage or some comparable form of skulduggery. The cost of a contract is usually so high that few ordinary people could attract one.

Now the Black Caste has set its sights on Tyrtaeus the Slaver, a friend and ally of the agents of the Priest-Kings. His death would be a significant blow.

Black Daggers is an adventure for Tales of Gor centred upon the renewed threat of the Caste of Assassins and its contract against Tyrtaeus.
