Civilisation has collapsed. The old world lies in ruins, overrun by mutants, monsters, slime and artificial intelligences that have gone completely off the rails.

Most of the survivors are goblins.

Armed with sticks, scavenged equipment and the survival instincts of creatures accustomed to being at the bottom of the food chain, they wander the wasteland trying to stay alive.

The Goblin Waffle Apocalypse is a post-apocalyptic goblin roleplaying game compatible with Shadowdark and other OSR systems.

The world may be ruined, but goblins are remarkably difficult to get rid of. They pick through the remains, fight whatever tries to eat them and attempt to make sense of a catastrophe for which waffles and collectible cardboard discs are somehow responsible.
