Reports of demonic manifestations suggest that redemption may not be what awaits them.

Postmortem Giallo 0003: The Sisters of the Seven Sins is an Italian-style pulp-horror adventure setting inspired by giallo thrillers, exploitation cinema and religious horror.

The convent, its inhabitants and the circumstances surrounding them provide the foundation for a variety of possible adventures. The player characters might be:

• Members of the unusual sisterhood.

• Vatican authorities investigating reports of demonic activity.

• Journalists looking into the convent and the women living there.

• Criminals attempting to return a sinister painting to its original home.

• Other investigators drawn into the convent’s history and present troubles.

The setting can be approached as a straight giallo story of crime, secrets and human corruption, or played with genuine supernatural forces at work.

What is happening within the convent—and how much of it is genuinely demonic—is for the Games Master to decide.

AN ADVENTURE KIT RATHER THAN A SCRIPT

Like the other volumes in the Postmortem Giallo series, The Sisters of the Seven Sins is presented as a collection of characters, circumstances and possible conflicts rather than a rigid sequence of prescribed scenes.

The Games Master is given the people, secrets and situation needed to build a mystery around the actions of the players.

Different groups can approach the same setting from very different directions. Vatican investigators may attempt to establish whether possession is genuine. Reporters may be looking for scandal. Criminals may have entirely different priorities, while characters drawn from the sisterhood are already trapped at the centre of events.
