Take contracts, explore strange worlds, prospect for valuable ore and deal with whatever weirdness is waiting on the next asteroid. The game favours lively, over-the-top adventure rather than treating outer space as an extended exercise in suffocation and equipment failure.

PLAYABLE SPACE FOLK

Create characters from four playable peoples:

• Space Goblins, naturally lucky, effective in packs and experienced scavengers.

• Space Gnomes, the goblins’ increasingly serious competitors in the prospecting business.

• Space Humans, drawn away from comfortable civilisation by freedom and adventure.

• Murder Bots, obsolete war machines trying to make a living after the war they were built to fight never happened.

Characters can be criminals, hotshot pilots, outlanders, scholars, soldiers and other spacegoing professionals.
