A weretiger, a punk naga, several deeply untrustworthy wizards and a crow carrying an eyeball. There was presumably a perfectly reasonable chain of events leading to all this, but it has not survived.

Fantasy Collection 4 contains 25 image files representing 16 distinct pieces of Brad McDevitt’s fantasy artwork. Several illustrations are provided in alternate colour, black-and-white or greyscale treatments, while others are supplied in both TIFF and PNG formats for easier use in different layouts.

The collection mixes monsters and sinister characters with dramatic scenes, useful spot illustrations and fantasy objects. There are liches, demons and mystics, frightened peasants, magical displays and a pile of treasure almost certainly positioned over a pressure plate. A human-skin grimoire is also included for publishers who feel ordinary leather lacks sufficient moral bankruptcy.

Suitable for role-playing games, adventures, bestiaries, campaign settings, fiction and other fantasy projects requiring strong, expressive artwork with an old-school gaming character.
